The year is 2035, fruit is harder to come by. To prevent fruit waste, we searched for answers to: What should be considered in a home delivery, grocery automated decision-making service when trying to minimize fruit waste in the year 2035? Research was conducted in three stages. First, orientation. We conducted a hands-on dilemma quiz to gather preferences and values of our test group. Based on these preferences we set up the baseline for the service. In this service we make use of a sensor who monitors the users fruit consumption. Based on this data it delivers only fruit a user will eat. In the second stage we tested the service without personalization. In the third stage we tested our service on the same user group, with but then with personalized fruit delivery. We found that this service could be used as a method against fruit wasted.
